At Mobile Infirmary, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality of care and as quickly as possible in medical emergencies.
Using the nationally recognized Emergency Severity Index (ESI), triage nurses assess each patient and determine the order in which they are seen. The most critical patients are treated first. There are times when a patient’s condition may require more time than others. We appreciate your patience if you are asked to wait.
In the emergency department, you are treated by a physician who specializes in emergency medicine. Additional testing may be performed as indicated by your exam. Ask your caregiver if you have questions about your treatment plan, tests, procedures medications or discharge instructions.
The emergency department entrance is located on the on the ground floor on the east side of the hospital (entering from Mobile Infirmary Circle).
